Crawford Logan

Crawford has worked in theatre, radio and television for over 40 years, appearing 3 times in the West End in Tom Stoppard’s “Dirty Linen”, “The Mousetrap” and 319 performances of “The Woman In Black”.
He has trodden the boards in theatres from Wick to Plymouth, as well as in Germany, Australia and the US, and in Scotland has worked at Pitlochry, Dundee, Perth, St Andrews, the Traverse, the Lyceum and the NTS among others, as well as touring with Firebrand, Stellar Quines and others.
He has been a regular on radio and will be familiar to BBC Radio 4 listeners as Paul Temple in the Paul Temple Mysteries, while also having been in the cast of The Archers—twice! Many audiobook recordings, including “Beowulf”, “The Forsyte Saga” and “Midnight In Peking.”
TV credits include: Dr Who, Secret Army, EastEnders and Outlander.

Bass baritone.

Crawford has appeared in many Christmas shows, including ‘Dick Whittington’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Gingerbread Man’. He has sung the part of Arvide Abernathy in ‘Guys and Dolls’, and the leading male part of Dougal Roothby in the Kielty brothers’ musical ‘Sundowe’, which won the Cameron Mackintosh Highland Quest competition in 2006.

As well as a long association with the Tallis Chamber Choir in London, he regularly performs music by Sally Beamish and has worked with many ensembles, including the Carducci Quartet, the Fidelio Trio, the Rose Consort of Viols, Auricle, the Rosenethe Singers, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Red Note. He is also a member of a band called The Martians!

Working a lot with musicians, often as a narrator, Crawford has also frequently performed Walton’s Façade and two pieces by Sally Beamish, The Seafarer and The Sins
