Renee Williams

Renee Williams studied choreography in California with a concentration in performance art and contemporary ballet (1999-2005). She then moved to New York where she attended the Suny Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts (2005-2009). When in New York she freelances with the commercial department of Paradigm Talent Agency.

She obtained her Masters of Arts degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014 and now resides in Glasgow. She has worked with the Tron Theatre in Glasgow and New York Theatres such as the Labyrinth Theatre Company, Mile Square Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre, McCarter Theatre and the Instant Shakespeare Co. Other notable roles in and around NY include: 3 Witches, Hecate, Gentlewoman (Macbeth), Duchess of Gloucester (RII), Audrey, Amiens (As You Like It), Princes of France (Loves Labour’s Lost), Angelica Bianca (the Rover), Leona (Small Craft Warnings)

Her most recent work includes a professional staged reading of Jackie Kaye’s play THE LAMPLIGHTER at the Tron Theatre and Edinburgh Book Festival, and performing her own adaptation of ANDROMACHE as part of Mayfesto also at the Tron Theatre.
