Steven studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduating with a BA (Honours) in Acting.
Since then he has worked with various theatre companies including the Citizens Theatre, National Theatre of Scotland, The Tron, Traverse, TAG, Vox Motus, Analogue, Visible Fictions, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Cumbernauld Theatre, Scottish Opera, Oran Mor, Bard in the Botanics, Platform, the Arches, Macrobert Arts, Grinagog and Raindog.
Steven was a key member of the creative team on Snuff, the Arches award winning play which transferred to the Traverse and then toured the U.K. as part of NTS’ Unmissable season in its inaugural year.
Steven is also an Asssociate Artist with Ice and Fire Theatre Company. Through the Actors For Human Rights project he helped write Asylum Monologues which premiered at Summerhall as part of the Edinburgh fringe in 2016 and continues to be performed across the country. He is currently developing the network in Scotland, creating work that responds to human rights issues. More information on the company can be found here
