BAA’s Ross Allan reprises his role as Jack in this year’s Eden Court Theatre panto in Inverness. Directed and co-written by Stephen Wren – also appearing as the Dame – Jack and The Beanstalk runs at Eden Court from Tuesday 4th December 2018 to Sunday 6th January 2019.

Join Alan on his journey through the murky, monetary mayhem lurking behind the scenes of Scottish football, as he asks: ‘Who is football for? Why do fans insist on pies? What kind of oddbod would put money into a football club?’ All these questions and more are mostly ignored in this hilarious comedy written by Bryan Jackson and David Belcher, and directed by Frank Miller.

In this interactive show, Uncanny Valley asks you, the audience, to interact with a real ‘live’ robot and help a futuristic science teacher tell the story of Ada and her best friend OKAY (Outstandingly Knowledgable Android Youth). OKAY is under threat of being terminated and the only way to stop this is to prove he or she is exactly the same as you or me. Watch as OKAY grows and learns, join in by asking your own questions and try to decide whether you think OKAY is simply electrical impulses or … Something more. Something almost human.
Written by Rob Drummond and presented by Borderline Theatre, Uncanny Valley was awarded Best Production for Children and Young People at the 2015-16 Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland.
