Clare Waugh

Clare trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now RCS). She is hugely experienced in radio plays, animation, ADR and voice over commercials.

Radio includes, Sybil Law, (Catherine Bailey) Jonathan Watson’s Big Society, The Holiday (Comedy Unit) Nice Device, Small Blue Thing (BBC Scotland).  ADR includes Swung (Sigma) Who Can You Trust (BBC Investigates).  Commercials include, Scots Porridge Oats (TV) National Museum of Scotland, Business Gateway, Visit Scotland, SAGA.

Clare is the voice of 5 characters in a new children’s animation series Flapper for Oscar winning Production Company Se-Ma-For and a couple of characters in feature film Princess Emmy by Red Kite animation and the Female Voices in Fairy Tale Piped Piper for Charioteer Theatre.

She has worked with several theatre companies throughout the UK including, Vanishing Point, Brunton Theatre, Lyceum Theatre, Visible Fictions, Imagine Productions, Traverse Theatre, The Arches, Scottish Opera, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Fire Exit, National Theatre of Scotland, Sell a Door and has been in many plays for the Oran Mor’s Play, Pie and a Pint including Casablanca the Gin Joint Cut and Doris, Dolly and the Dressing Room Divas animation and the Female Voices in Fairy Tale Piped Piper for Charioteer Theatre.
