Annie has recently returned from the Canadian tour of critically acclaimed musical ‘The Last Ship’ Presented by Northern Stage, and starring Sting.

Annie is an actor, musician, singer and musical director, whose career has spanned 25 years. Her main instruments are pipes and whistles. She trained at Glasgow School of Art, before becoming a founder member of the Scottish folk group ‘Iron Horse’ The band quickly established a reputation as one of the new and innovative Scottish sounds of the nineties, leading the way in the folk revival. The group toured internationally over a 12- year period and recorded several albums. Annie has also released two solo albums ‘Take me out drinking tonight’ and ‘The Bell’
