Trained: Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Recent productions include ‘The Steamie’ (Neil Laidlaw) ‘The Pokey Hat (Grinagog Theatre Company) and ‘The Sloan’s Project’ (Noise, Made In Scotland Showcase)
She has also performed in the CATS award winning ‘The Emperor’s New Kilt’ (Wee Stories/ NTS) and performed on the Lyttelton stage of the National Theatre London in ‘Men Should Weep’
Other work includes productions for Borderline, Dundee Rep, the MacRobert Arts Centre and the Brunton and several productions for Conflux over three Surge festivals including ‘The Venus Labyrinth’ with acclaimed Danish company Cantabile 2.
Film Credits include ‘Mandancin’, ‘The Mermaid’ and ‘Changed Days’ with TV appearances in ‘Taggart’ and ‘ Carrie and David’s Pop Shop’ (Cbeebies).
Louise is an accomplished vocalist who has sung in many productions including pantomime and musicals and depping with the close harmony group ‘The Swingcats’ at the Pavillion Theatre. She has extensive experience as a lead and backing vocalist, has recorded voice overs and jingles for radio commercials and appeared on the Nigerian world cup anthem ‘One’.
She also performs with her own band, the duo ‘Head to Head’ at weddings and functions playing music from the 60’s up to the present day. Tracks can be heard on her website here.
