Tim Licata is originally from Chicago and is based in Edinburgh.
He has performed with companies including: Communicado, Catherine Wheels,Reeling & Writhing, Benchtours, Theatre Sans Frontieresand internationally with The Electric Company (Canada), House of Candles (New York) and the Vienna International Theatre. Tim is a founder of Plutôt la Vie Theatre Company and has devised and performed in Curious Shoes, A Clean Sweep and By the Seat of Your Pants in the UK and abroad. Tim has provided voice-overs for productions with Channel 4 and BBC Scotland.
Tim also works as a Clowndoctor and Elderflower for Hearts and Minds arts-in-health programmes, through which he indulges a passion for slapstick and close-up magic. Tim trained as an actor at the Piven Theatre Workshop in Chicago and with Philippe Gaulier and Monika Pagneux in Paris. Tim is an experienced actor with strong skills in comedy, physical and movement theatre.
