La Performance is a new piece of entirely visual theatre inspired by the poetic realism of classic French cinema, and features the brilliant Ramesh Meyyappan.
Devised and directed by Andy Arnold, La Performance uses visual storytelling to tell the tale of a doomed relationship between a clown and the woman he loves. Two actors, Her (Emmanuelle Laborit) and Him (Ramesh Meyyappan) rehearse backstage for a performance. When the curtain goes up, a clown and the woman the clown adores perform the rehearsed routines. But things go wrong. They argue. Who is it arguing though? Her and Him or their characters?
Runs 12-22nd October
