Prudencia Hart – Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh

With a rollicking text by David Greig, barnstorming live music, and an ingenious and enchanting story, The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart returns to The McKittrick Hotel in New York, following its ground-breaking residency in the hotel’s pub and theatre space in 2016-17.

Featuring BAA’s Gavin Jon Wright and produced by the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh & Double M Arts & Events LLC, The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart will be at the McKittrick until 30th April 2023.

Unfair – Channel 4 Comedy Blaps

Gavin Jon Wright features in Unfair, a new comedy commissioned by Channel 4 for their 2022 slate of Comedy Blaps.

Unfair is the story of clueless student Sorcha who leaves her leafy home for a life on a showman’s yard with boyfriend, Bentley. Sorcha is desperate to fit in with his family, but knowing nothing of fairground life, doesn’t realise she’s in for a rollercoaster ride.

Written by Emma Lennox, Unfair is directed by Meg Campbell, executive produced by Chris Young, and supported by Creative Scotland.

Annika – Alibi

Annika, written by Perrier nominated writer Nick Walker, is based on the hugely successful Radio 4 drama and features BAA’s Hannah Donaldson, Gavin Jon Wright and Paul McCole. The series follows the sharp, witty and enigmatic DI Annika Strandhed (Nicola Walker), as she heads up a new Marine Homicide Unit, tasked with investigating the unexplained, sometimes brutal, and seemingly unfathomable murders that wash up in the waterways of Scotland.

Annika is available to view on the Alibi channel from Tuesday 17th August 2021.
