It’s A Wonderful Life – A Radio Play On Stage

Back by popular demand, The Beacon Arts Centre will bring It’s A Wonderful Life to the stage in a live radio play for the seventh consecutive year.

Performed as a 1940s radio broadcast in front of a studio audience, BAA’s Laurie Brown joins the cast this year as a radio actor who in turn plays the character of George Bailey.

Featuring live sound effects and live music this performance is a rare opportunity to see how a 1940s radio broadcast was produced.

Runs from 13 December – 22 December 2018

Rudolph

Make your way to Platform for a fun family outing this Christmas!

It’s Christmas, but it’s hard to celebrate with no cards, tree, presents or food.

If only Esmerelda the chicken would agree to laying an egg…but Esmerelda just won’t be persuaded, unless she hears her favourite story – Rudolf.

And so, using their imaginations, the objects in their tiny house and a strong sense of the ridiculous our two unlikely storytellers attempt the tale of Rudolf, the reindeer that just doesn’t fit in.
