Andy Clark

Andy trained at RSAMD (now RCS) and has been a professional actor since 1997 working extensively in theatre, radio & television.


He has provided voice-overs for Belhaven Beers, University of Abertay, The Forth Bridge Experience & The Peoples’ History Show (STV).  He also voiced the hour-long documentary HMP Grampian: The Hate Factory (Demus) for BBC Scotland and has narrated two short stories, Ozymandias & The Five of Spades for BBC Radio 4. Other radio work includes Killing Kate, Boswell at Large, Rebus, The Dead Hour, The Cherry Blossom Whiskey Company, The Whole of the Moon, McLevy (BBC Radio 4), Fall (BBC Radio 3), No Mean City, Geordie, Road to Sunset (BBC Radio Scotland). Andy was a series regular in River City from 2010-2012, playing Dr Michael Brodie. Other television work includes Bob Servant (BBC Scotland), Rubenesque (Kudos/Pirate), 1911 Review of the Year (Hopscotch), Peter Manuel: The End of Evil?, High Times, Rebus, Taggart, Missing (STV) & Sea of Souls (BBC).


From 2000-03 he was a member of Dundee Rep Ensemble, appearing in over 20 productions. Other theatre work includes A Christmas Carol, Hamlet, Othello, The Libertine (Citizens) The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, Julie, Gobbo, (National Theatre of Scotland), Vernon God Little (Young Vic), Gastronauts (Royal Court) The Winter’s Tale, The Cherry Orchard (Royal Lyceum) & Of Mice & Men (Leeds Playhouse).
