Caroline Strong

Caroline is a British actress now based in Scotland with thirty years’ experience in Theatre, TV
and Radio. A versatile character actress; she is best known for series regulars such as: Mel
Doland in YTV’s Emmerdale, Margaret, in ITV’s wartime drama series, Island at War and
Margaret-Anne in the BBC comedy series Thin Ice.
Her most recent documentary feature work, as a narrator includes: The Bough Breaks,
Cultybraggan and The Village on the Loch, for Mousehole Films and 7Palms.
Caroline was a former member of the BBC Radio Drama Company with numerous lead roles for
Radio 4, Radio 3, the World Service, incl: Myra in Séance on a Wet Afternoon, Georgy in
Georgy Girl (Radio Times Award Nominee) and Marguerite in Lady of the Camelias.
Other TV work includes: Prime Suspect, Monroe, Vincent, Moving On, Wire in the Blood,
Clocking Off, Holby City, Waterloo Road, Doctors, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks.
Theatre seasons incl; Royal National Theatre, Liverpool Playhouse and Manchester Library
Theatre.
