Kern is a versatile leading character actor who has gained wide critical acclaim in over 30 years experience in Theatre, Television, Film and Radio. His voice has a warm mellifluous quality and has featured in many a production for Radio Scotland he is well versed in poetry readings commercial advertising, ADR and capable of many comic characterisations.
Kern has appeared at a wide variety of theatres the length and breadth of the UK, including, Edinburgh Royal Lyceum, Glasgow Citizens, Dundee Rep, Perth Rep, The Byre, St Andrews, The Brunton, Mull Little Theatre Eden Court, The Almeida, The Young Vic, Colchester Mercury, Nottingham Playhouse, Polka, London and many ,many more.
