Grant Reid is a working-class writer, script editor and producer from Glasgow who began his career at the MA TV Screenwriting programme at GCU. He enjoys telling stories about identity and self-sabotage through comedy and drama. Grant has extensive experience developing scripts from story conception-to-screen as a script editor and producer at BBC Scotland’s River City, where he has learned from working alongside some of Scotland’s top writers. He is currently a script editor at EastEnders and divides his time between Glasgow and London. Grant has also mentored new-to-TV creatives in his role at BBC Studios as well as with Impact Arts and maintains a relationship with the MA TV Screenwriting programme.
