Andy trained at the University of Glasgow and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He works as a playwright, director and composer and is artistic director of Sleeping Warrior Theatre Company. His writing for theatre is varied, from making shows for wee ones to hard-hitting dramas that have played in most theatres across Scotland. Andy has been described in The Scotsman as "a backstage powerhouse of small-scale musical theatre making in Scotland, a writer, director and composer who has built a formidable reputation, over the last decade.”
