Born in Dundee, Simon used his experience as an amateur boxer and nightclub manager to write first play, “Shadowboxing.” Has lived in Doncaster, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, and Pittsfield Massachusetts where he spent time working on a farm and interned at The Berkshire Public Theatre. In the theatre he learned all roles front of house and backstage while also appearing in many productions. Has spent time on oil rigs working with offshore workers to influence their safety behaviour, travelling throughout UK, Ireland, South Korea and Brazil. He enjoys working on modern urban stories. Would love to finally learn Spanish and make a Horror movie. He can also make a decent cocktail after working in several bars and restaurants in London. Favourite writer is Brian Friel.
