James Farley
James Farley
Writer

James is a proudly queer, but begrudgingly neurodivergent actor and writer originally from rural West Midlands.

He trained as an actor at the Manchester School of Theatre, where he wrote his first play. Eight years later, that same play made its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024 with his autobiographical solo-show GOOD BOY, exploring patriarchal power dynamics in queer relationships. It was also very funny.

While he is an early-career writer, James has displayed a speciality in telling fiercely funny, queer, working-class stories that may or may not come from personal experience.

James now lives in London and when he isn't at the theatre you can find him nose-deep in a novel, watching a horror film, playing video games, or at a drag show.
