Edinburgh born Nalini, studied Drama at Bristol University before training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She then lived all over the UK before returning to Scotland. She has since worked extensively in TV, theatre and radio.

Nalini has written for the BBC 1, CBeebies andC4. Original credits include: Puellae and The Infinity Pool (both BBC R4) Finding Noor (Ankur/Citizens) and Kontomble; The Shaman and The Boy (Oran Mor/NTS/ Traverse)

She also presents BBC Scotland podcast ‘TheReveal’ which can be found on BBC sounds.
